For humans to thrive in space, and start to chart our course to the stars, we need to develop a spectrum of new aerospace technologies and, in particular, the game changing energy and propulsion systems required.
“ A moment in history - first of its kind” charts the 1st test flight of a fusion powered plasma drive that, without multi-stage fossil fuel rocket engines, propels the first of a new class of self launching vehicles beyond escape velocity and into navigable near-Earth space.
Original acrylic on canvas, image size 50cm x 40cm. Signed by the artist.
