"Bad dreams" is a study of the some nebulous shapes and tones that we react to subconsciously, ancient humans evolved from early hominid tree dwellers who would have been in conflict with snakes, spiders and many other predatory species lurking in the shadows.

Many hostile alien images include non-distinct, tentacled entities and our nightmares are full of dominating, shadowy threats encompassing undefined harm.
