A pair of Sabic II long range fleet escorts skim the upper atmosphere of a gaseous planet. Initial detailed exploration of planets will be undertaken once a fleet cruiser enters an unexplored star system for the first time.

Sabic II's are fast, tough and configured with significant sensor array's. They are capable of extended unsupported missions away from the fleet.
