The STAG is a long range strike fighter that I designed for a large set of original Space paintings. Unlike the SABIC I & II the STAG is specifically tasked for interdiction missions and maximum self sufficiency. They are fast, extremely well armed and heavily armoured.
In "STAGs rolling in" 3 ships deploy against orbital defences high above a clouded moon.
The painting was completed and sold during the 1980's.
